Turning to Jesus is more than being religious, more than morality, political preference, going to church, or any other outward expression that comes to mind.
Giving your heart and life to the Good Shepherd is the only place to find lasting inner healing and wholeness. He washes & heals our hearts and minds when we accept what He did for us on the cross. The truth is, He took our place on the cross. He was broken so we could be healed. Trusting and believing this, is the way to receive and experience His salvation.
Then He teaches us how to live differently than before by leading us using His Word and His Spirit in us. He also places us in His family to surround us outwardly with others He has healed. He lives in each one who will humbly surrender their lives to Him.
This is how in a crazy hurtful world some have an inner strength that seems to be almost supernatural. The truth is, it is.
